Social impact of the public accounting program of a higher education institution in southern of Colombia in 2017

Objective and methodology: To determine the social impact of the Public Accounting program of the “Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios”, virtual surveys were conducted using the descriptive approach through the mixed model (qualitative and quantitative) numerical data of active and graduate students were obtained in each academic period, and that information was analyzed. Results: The data obtained is the basis for establishing strategies aimed at strengthening the academic and welfare processes that contribute to the continuous improvement and positioning of the Public Accounting program in the region.
