The work of nursing, focuses primarily on the interpersonal relationship that is built between the staff and the patient, so that requires the integration of human and professional factors, to provide better care. Nursing care is not enough to observe the patient from the professional point of view, but social, personal and spiritual. However, the nursing staff is prone to be distracted by the use of cell phones, leaving aside the integral care of patients. It is essential that the nursing personnel acquire responsibility when carrying out procedures or delegate functions according to the expertise or level of training, as well as to be alert for the warning signs for their immediate report. This bibliographical review is carried out with the objective of knowing the perception of hospitalized users regarding the use of cellular equipment at the moment of providing nursing care. Corresponds to a selection and review of 50 related documents, published from 2013 to 2018. From the study, it is possible to affirm that there is a significant risk of dehumanization in care, due to the use of cell phones at the time of care, the studies consulted showed that the perception about the quality in the care is directly related to the satisfaction of the patients, such that it can be altered by the bad attention of the nursing staff, through the distraction with the use of the cell phone.
