Projects, management and success. A literature review.

Abstract

Projects are fundamental for the development of society and organizations. Thanks to the successful operation and success of these projects, society is advancing by leaps and bounds. Failure is common in the realization of these projects, viewed from different perspectives. The objective of the present paper is, through a literature review, to collect the traditional and emerging concepts of the projects, the importance of their efficiency and effectiveness and the criteria and factors that allow their success, trying to differentiate in the dichotomous understanding of the success concepts of the project or success in the project.
