Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this paper is to present the results of a research whose main objective was the application of the Padlet as a learning tool under the Flipped Classroom approach. This research took place in the subject of educational psychology pertaining to the professional component of the Psychology program, in virtual and distance learning programs at the Minuto de Dios University, Bogota-Sur Vice-Chancellor - Colombia. Methodology: Qualitative sociocritical study. Results: this experience exposed that the Padlet facilitates the development of pedagogical knowledge. This research also showed that the Flipped Classroom potentiates students’ literacy and information skills; that applied in the training of psychologists, allows them
to update content, the development of critical thinking and the interest of continuing education; it also strengthens the pedagogical, content and technological knowledge of teachers. As a limitation, it is necessary to mention that for the application of the Flipped Classroom approach, it is necessary that all educational actors (teachers-students) have access to the Internet, to overcome the existing digital divide in both access and use.
