Authors who publish in Revista Navarra Médica retain ownership of the copyright on their articles at all times. However, by accepting publication in this journal, you grant the right of first publication under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license allows third parties to share, copy, redistribute, adapt, transform and build upon the material, as long as authorship and initial publication in Revista Navarra Médica is properly acknowledged, and it is not used for commercial purposes.

Additionally, authors may enter into independent contractual agreements for non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the article (e.g., inclusion in institutional repositories or academic compilations), always acknowledging initial publication in this journal. This flexibility in distribution promotes the dissemination of knowledge, in line with the open access model adopted by the journal.

In this way, both the respect for the authors' rights and the visibility and impact of their contributions in the academic and scientific community are guaranteed.
