Abstract

The CAPs studies have been used in various health topics, being considered the fundamental basis of the diagnoses to offer information to institutions or organizations responsible for the creation, execution and evaluation of health promotion programs and in this way help to reduce the Prevalence rates of chronic noncommunicable diseases since these are events that during life can be identified early and prevent their complications especially disabilities and deaths at early ages, therefore these studies are useful and effective in the development of health programs .

Methods: A bibliographic search was carried out of 30 descriptive articles published between 2000 and 2017, taking as inclusion criteria only CAPs studies on Diabetes and Hypertension of young, adult, diagnosed and undiagnosed population.
