Abstract

Ebola disease is a serious, often fatal, disease that occurs in humans and non-human primates (monkeys and chimpanzees) and has appeared sporadically since its initial recognition in 1976. The disease is caused by infection with the Ebola virus Who was the first in Africa and is unknown the virus originating from other continents? The following article corresponds to a historical review of the disease and its current behavior.
